Anxiety and Joy

These are anxious times, but the anxiety doesn’t come from God. I pray that you will find hope. If you’re reading this, I’m praying for you!


All those anxious thoughts - what if I get sick, how will the economy ever survive, how will I afford my bills - or food, what about the kids, whose fault is it, will anyone ever love me, nobody gets me...


“Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down.” Proverbs 12:25


You, and only you, have control over your thoughts, but if you’re anxious you’ll have to fight for that control with Jesus. With Christ ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. Even peace and joy in the midst of a crisis. Whenever you find yourself worrying, consciously change your focus to a Blessing you have. “Thank you Lord that we have enough to eat today.” “Thank you Lord that we have a safe place to live.”
