I read today that “according to the latest research, 75 percent of Whites do not have any friends of color, and this percentage is even higher in the evangelical church.”
I was shocked! I grew up in a vibrant church that was mostly Hispanic and have had many friends who are Asian, Hispanic, or Black. It’s normal for me. But when I realized that it’s not normal for so many others who follow Christ, it really hurt. So I looked up the statistics and studies and found that racism is more prevalent IN the Church than in society in general. What are WE going to do about that my friends?
