How often is the focus of our prayers asking God to change our circumstances?
It’s not wrong to ask, but we need to make sure it’s not our focus. We don’t have any idea what God may be doing with those circumstances. Is He using hardship and pain to accomplish something much bigger and more important to further His plans and fulfill His word? Maybe. Or is the hardship you’re enduring like iron sharpening iron, helping you become closer to Him and more effective in your work and ministry?
