Faith, Not Fear

There are 365 verses in the Bible telling us not to be afraid, and yet fear creeps in to us all the time. I’m sure that is exactly why He said it so many times and in so many different ways.

“Don’t fear, because I am with you; don’t be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will surely help you; I will hold you with my righteous strong hand.”

Isaiah 41:10

God gave us examples and heroes to follow too. Think of Joseph, David, Daniel, Elijah, Paul, and all the Apostles - they all dealt with fear but they all trusted God and their faith won.
