A grateful heart pushes away negativity and ushers in light. It’s ALWAYS a good choice! But - you do get to choose whether you have an attitude that focuses on gratitude or one that focuses on what you don’t have.
The purest form of gratitude is being thankful to God for His goodness and nothing else. Not just what He’s done for you or given to you or blessed you with - but just because HE IS.
This gives us entry into His presence. Do not ever take that awesome privilege lightly. His presence is holy ground and when you walk with Him, he is always with you! Does that mean everywhere you go is holy ground - what do you think?
