Can you declare that with confidence? With complete faith? It is true!
It doesn’t mean that the Lord is going to give you everything you want or dream of, though. That’s a genie in a bottle, not our all-knowing, wonder-working God who only does what is BEST for us. There is a line in the movie “Rudy,” where the priest tells him that in his years of serving God and people he is certain of two things: “There is a God, and I’m not Him.” No matter how wise we become, we don’t know what He knows and cannot see what He sees over time.
When you feel like God isn’t listening, or He doesn’t care - know that He absolutely IS listening and that He cares enough to say “No.” sometimes that’s the hardest thing to do when you’re a parent or a friend - but it’s often the most loving thing to do. Whatever you’re facing,
God is with you,
He is for you not against you,
He hears you,
He sees you and
He loves you more than you’ll ever comprehend.
