We naturally fixate on what we want and not on what we have. We also tend to focus on what we want God to do for us, and not on what He IS doing in and around us. We criticize God for not doing things the way we think He should.
We don’t know what we don’t know. God does, though. He has the whole picture of our life and our needs, our influence and our marks in the lives of others. Why do we struggle to trust Him with this?
“Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.” 1 Corinthians 13:12
