Have you ever struggled to truly believe that God is ALWAYS good? Even when terrible things happen?
I have. I can remember a time when I was in church and the worship team was sing “Good, Good Father” and I was crying and asking God to help me see Him as good again. I felt like God had let me down. I was disappointed and a little angry. Have you ever felt that way towards God?
It took a little time, but God showed me the sin in me that had led to the circumstances I was experiencing... and I repented and realized that God shower me that He is ALWAYS good - He answered that prayer.
We live is a broken world and bad things happen to good people all the time. This isn’t because God isn’t good, it’s because of the sin in the world. But God makes a way for us to have joy and fulfillment in our lives in spite of the evil in the world - because He is good, not because we deserve it. God pours His grace and mercy out on us - receive it today with joy and worship Him.
