In this 15th chapter of John, Jesus tells us what it takes:
Abide in Him, stay with Him and be reachable and teachable - let God prune you and your life.
Produce fruit by abiding in Him.
Keep His Word in you, pray, ask Him for what you need and desire.
Love Him and receive His love.
Obey God’s commandments.
