Hope in God

Another aspect of God as my Hiding Place - He shields me and fills me with hope. Shielding is much like protecting, but it deflects the attacks that come against me so that I don’t necessarily have to fight that particular battle.

But hope... Hope is what keeps us moving forward toward the prize. Hope is what keeps us putting one foot in front of another. Hope is what gives us courage to face the future. Hope for our future is why Christ gave us His life - to redeem us and fill us with His love and forgiveness so that we are capable of following Him.
