Hope In God

Sometimes hope is all you have, and it is enough to get you through. Putting our hope in God is always the right choice, but make sure you’re really doing it. I remember hoping and praying for something with all my heart, but it wasn’t good for me. I was extremely disappointed and angry with God - I even doubted His goodness. I was afraid I would never be happy, or that I had missed God and wouldn’t be able to fulfill my purpose.

But I still knew He was my only hope. I mustered all my strength just to go collapse at His feet, and He comforted me and lifted up my head. He reminded me that I DO have a future and a hope ahead of me and that He protected me from a counterfeit. Hope gave me strength to keep going and to overcome fear.

“So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord!” Psalms‬ ‭31:24‬ ‭
