I bet you can name someone in your life that is an absolute blessing, and someone who is probably a lesson. We don’t tend to think that way though, and perhaps we should.
We are followers of Christ, Christians. This means that we’re supposed to be disciples of Christ - that means we are His students and we’re learning discipline to be more like Him and our teachers are Father Son and Holy Spirit. You better believe that most people and situations are for our learning. Learning to love without qualification, forgive the unforgivable, have compassion without judgment, pray for the undeserving, and be humble in every situation.
