How amazing is this? That we have a Lord who is a loving Father, a brother who gave His life for us and a companion who is always with us, helping us, fighting the devil with us, and filling us with power, love, and wisdom. And we are shown this kindness and given this level of love no matter what. We don’t deserve it, we haven’t earned it, and yet God’s grace lavishes it upon us. We are never left alone to fend for ourselves, even if we think we are.
