Are you hard on yourself?
When you make a mistake, do you beat yourself up? What about with others?
Are you quick to accuse or quick to apologize?
Do you forgive easily, or do you expect people to “make it right” first?
Do you forgive yourself easily?
Jesus came to give us forgiveness and grace so abundantly that we would be full of it for ourselves and for others. He knows we’re going to stumble and fall down - He knows this better than anyone! It doesn’t change how much He loves and forgives us. It doesn’t change His plans for us. Why do we expect more of ourselves or of others than is humanly possible? We need to remember God’s grace and share it more abundantly with others. That’s a good New Years Resolution!
