How many times do we forget this. We think of prayer as what we ask God for. We make up acronyms so that we’ll ask in the best way we can, like PRAY=Praise, Repent, Ask and Yield - or ACTS = Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication.

When are we taught to wait and listen? David was such a great example of this - he would run into God’s tabernacle and wouldn’t leave until he’d heard from Him. He was tenacious in prayer, full of love for God, and brutally honest… and God said he was a man after His own heart.
