Are one of those people who think about something to the point of over-thinking, fretting and becoming anxious? Or, are you someone who talks to anyone and everyone about something, looking for advice, support or agreement - even if they’re totally uninvolved or uninterested? Or, do you just sweep issues under the rug and pretend they’re not happening?
I’ve definitely been guilty of all three at one time or another, but I’ve learned to pray instead. I usually don’t talk about something with someone if I haven’t prayed about it, sometimes for a long time. I’ve learned that I don’t have as many answers as I thought I did, and that my friends don’t either - But God does. He gives me peace and perspective, wisdom and guidance and He faithfully listens, always. He is always interested and involved in my life - even the little things.
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6
