God wants us to be bold when we pray. Confident that we are His child, that He is listening, that He has the power to do whatever is good, and to help us and comfort us through anything we face.
God freely gives us mercy and grace and doesn’t measure it - why do we hesitate to receive it? Because we think we don’t deserve it? That’s the point, though. We will never deserve it, that’s the point. God is rich in mercy and grace - He wants to give this to us. He wants to set us free from the past. He wants us to walk with Him and talk with Him. This is the prayer life of a believer with a personal relationship with God.
