It seems to me that Prayer is so much more important than we think it is. Taking time for fellowship and conversation with someone you love dearly seems natural, but in our fast-paced, electronically stimulated world today, we struggle with doing this with the people in our own families- much less with our Father God who waits patiently and isn’t making a fuss.
This year, I made prayer my focus Word. I’ve had some success and some failure in developing what I would call a practice of prayer, striving for what the Bible instructs, to “pray without ceasing.” I want to walk through my day in a conversation with Jesus.
