The Narrow Path

Forgiveness is the hard road, the narrow path of God’s will and plan for us. You know, the plans for a future and a hope... we cannot realize those plans while we are steeped in bitterness and unforgiveness. Despite what the devil wants us all to believe, forgiving someone doesn’t make what they did “OK,” it’s simply choosing to trust God. Trust God that HE IS just, that He will do what He said, that He is good and the He loves us. Let’s work together to build each other up and love our neighbor as ourselves - no matter what they look like.

Resentment, fear and hatred are tools the devil uses to steal our peace. Don’t let him do that to you. Love God and love people. That’s our commandment. That’s what God holds us accountable to. I am encouraged by the dialogue in the Church right now and I’m filled with hope for forgiveness and reconciliation and I’m praying for the spirit of love to prevail! #theywillknowusbyourlove #BEthechurch #blacklivesmatter #goodgoodfather #childofgod #loveoneanother #shalom #onespiritonechurch #dailydevotional
