True Love

True love is the love that will give everything and is still able to receive. It is selfless but always reciprocated by our loving God. We tend to associate our circumstances with the level of love and blessing God is giving us - the truth is that there is nothing we can ever do to make God love us more and there is nothing we can do to make God love us less. We are His beloved children and He has a divine plan for us. For some of us that may mean living as a missionary or in poverty - this doesn’t mean He won’t bless you all over, it just means He needs you to serve from that position.

We are all part of God’s family and all part of His army. We are created for a purpose, and that purpose isn’t to have all our material desires granted. It is to do the work God equipped us to do. His love is our banner and fills us with strength. Our relationship with Him is our blessing.
