Have you ever realized God wanted you to do something or stop doing it, but you’re stubbornness or fear delayed Your obedience? Maybe that hasn’t happened to you before, but it sure has to me. One of the times, I was in a ministry job in a church, I was making a difference and fulfilling a call God had called me to. But He had told me to quit and to move on. I am a fiercely loyal person and I loved my church. And, I didn’t know what the next assignment was so I procrastinated. Delayed obedience is disobedience.
God gave me grace to endure the heart break of saying goodbye to that church though - He caused little issue (thorn), after little issue (more thorns), until I got the message.
