How we “feel” about things isn’t as important as we think it is. We are Christians - followers of Christ. That makes us His disciples, which means we are choosing to be disciplined to do things His way and giving up our own way. In the early church, it was called THE WAY! When we are following Him and His call we must persevere and not “grow weary of doing good.”
Our feelings and emotions will serve our flesh, not Jesus. But, when you’re walking with Him, the Holy Spirit will move you to action and stir up your emotions. It’s important to learn His voice and understand His prompts so you’re not deceived when the devil tries to fool you. And, he will try a lot. People always say, “Listen to your heart.” I don’t think that’s great advice at all - listen to the Lord!
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?”
Jeremiah 17:9
