When we’re tempted to talk about someone or something to others, we should always be careful. Our words have the power to build up or to ruin, it matters what we say. Even if it’s about political figures or movie stars, the things we say are a reflection of what is filling our minds and hearts.
Only you have control of this! “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians 4:8
Each one of us can change our focus and redirect our thoughts, but it requires discipline and faith. The key is walking in and by the Holy Spirit. Make that your focus and learn to ask yourself What Would Jesus Do/Say?
