Goodness & Mercy

Our Lord is a good and loving Father who actually watches over us and pours out His goodness and mercy to us no matter what. Sometimes we don’t want goodness and mercy, though... we want to be angry and mean. He never fails, even when we reject Him.

We often fail and think that God is failing us because bad things happen. We are a very self-centered people. We don’t see the whole picture, but God does. Many times the bad things are happening because other humans are sinning and selfish. God doesn’t stop us from sinning, but He does forgive us and help us to heal. He does work in our hearts to help us not to put others through what we’ve been through. He does cover us with grace and love us unconditionally. His Holy Spirit never leaves us and walks through it all with us.
