This was Jesus pouring out His heart to God before He died for us. This is why He died for us! That we could be with Him and the Father in unity.
Having one heart and mind in the church means that you all put first things first - loving God and loving people (all people). It’s ok to disagree if you live under the law of love.
Political stuff has no place in the church. Jesus said give to the government what belongs to them and give to God what belongs to Him. YOU belong to God! Does He have your heart and your mind? Vote your conscience but give God your heart and your mind - and trust Him to do what is best.
