Abiding

How many times do we forget this? We go off on our own to do this or that, but we don’t take the time to discern or pray about it first. We add the prayer after we’re on our way, “Lord, please bless me in this or that….” But we never made sure we were plugged in to His will at the beginning.

But if you make yourselves at home with me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask will be listened to and acted upon. This is how my Father shows who he is—when you produce grapes, when you mature as my disciples.” John‬ ‭15‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭MSG‬
