Kindness seems so hard to find these days. Honestly, I cannot understand why people think that it’s ever ok to withhold kindness, or that it should be reserved for those who “earn” it or “deserve” it. None of us deserve God’s kindness, yet His example is to pour it out on us without measure.
Kindness is not just our actions, but our words. Not just basic manners like saying please and thank you, but showing appreciation and expressing love. If you want to withhold something, try not making a sarcastic remark, or the selfish retort, or being critical. We can share the truth in love without any of these things.
