We have choices we are more aware of making each day, and others that we don’t really think about. It’s very easy to let busyness and stress to have free reign over us, and think that you cannot help it. But, you can! Many people discovered this during the pandemic because all the stuff and things that were filling their lives suddenly stopped. And we learned that we could choose not to resume certain activities because we valued the peace in our lives and space to breathe.
Our attitude is always a choice, too. God tells us to choose joy. To consider Him and all He has done for us, and to choose to be thankful in every circumstance.
“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.” Philippians 4:4
“I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,” Deuteronomy 30:19
