Deep Waters

Have you been in “deep waters” before? I know I have! I felt so overwhelmed it was like being underwater and I could barely breathe. But I called out to God and He came down from Heaven and pulled me out of those deep waters. He set me on solid ground and He comforted me. He didn’t stop the circumstances I was coping with, He walked through them with me - filling me with His Spirit, knowledge and hope.

I am a child of God and my Father isn’t just good, He is perfect - even when He doesn’t do things the way I think He should. He knows all things and I simply don’t. I don’t understand why some people live lives full of suffering and pain and He delivers and heals others like He did for me. I believe that He longs to heal us all but evil and sin are real and they cause all kinds of trouble, even for those who follow Christ. The difference is that our Father will protect us from evil when we walk with Him and live in His will.
