God’s heart is tender towards you. He longs to spend time with you, to teach you and to cover you with His grace , mercy and love. That’s what Jesus did too. He was like His Father and we are supposed to follow His example and be His disciple.
God wants us to be tender-hearted and generous with all that we have. He didn’t bless us for our own sake, but to share with others. Do you think of it that way? Do you figure that what you put in the collection on Sunday is generous enough and you should get to enjoy the rest? I think that’s true, but the thing is - if we’re following Jesus then we are loving people and sharing this part of our blessing with them. This includes forgiveness and grace, not just things and prosperity.
Who do you need to share grace and forgiveness with. Who do you need to share kindness and mercy with? Who do you need to share bounty with. If you can’t think of anyone, then you need to get busy finding them.
