Just in case you ever wonder if God knows what is going on, or if He even cares, think about what we learn from this verse. God planned every nationality and race of people. He chose where they would live and when they would rise and fall. He expected the wars and battles between them and He knows that we are sinners.
There is a force on earth that is led by Satan, he brings evil into situations and breeds it into people - but he is not ultimately in control, he just wants to mess up God’s plans. He causes trouble, but ultimately Jesus overcame evil and the troubles of this world for each one of us. Unfortunately, many people will reject Him and choose evil.
