Letting Go

Jesus taught us that the cost of following Him was high. That we had to be ready and willing to give up anything and everything. He doesn’t always require us to actually give them up, but sometimes He does. He looks at our hearts. When Jesus spoke to the rich young man in Matthew 19, He knew that his many possessions and wealth were his identity and that he wouldn’t give them up, even for eternal life in heaven and Jesus gave the young man the choice. What would you choose - really think about it.
