When we feel down, God cares.
He sent us the Holy Spirit as our Comforter.
He knows how we feel when we experience loss and death - but promises to bring something wonderful out of the destruction. Beth Moore said “God will never allow a fire in your life from which he cannot bring beauty from the ashes.” He gives us the medicine and anointing of joy when we’re mourning. “The joy of the Lord is our strength” Psalm 118:14
And when you’re feeling weighed down under heavy burdens or grief, the Lord gives us the ability to look up, to praise God for His goodness, power and grace. When we do this, the heaviness is lifted and in all this our great God is glorified. “Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 NLT
