“The Lord gave and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.” Job 1:21
There are some things and relationships that were taken away from me, that really undid me. Some that I thought were God’s will and gift for me and some that I worked hard for. It was hard for me to learn to praise God even when He took them away. In hind site I can see why, but in the moment (or the year) I didn’t. It took time and prayer and a willing spirit before I understood that it was always for my best and that those things or relationships weren’t any more, if they ever were. Trusting God means that you don’t understand what He’s doing all the time, but following Him and praising Him anyway.
