Staying Alert

Sometimes I get tired of staying alert. This is one reason why it’s important to walk with the Holy Spirit. If you’re in tune with Him, He will warm you when you’ve let your guard down - BUT, you’ve got to listen... It’s also helpful if you have people close to you who are walking with the Lord, because they can warn you too... IF you listen.
Listening to the voice of warning and care is a lot like wearing your seatbelt. Sometimes it may restrict your freedom a little but when the road gets bumpy, it keeps you safe; or when you crash, it can be the difference between life and death.
There is a devil. An enemy IS trying to wreck you. So, stay alert and listen...
