Most of us have to do some kind of work - earn a living. The Bible often talks about God’s blessing on hard work - as long as it doesn’t become our God, our motivator, and we keep first things first. “Do you work as if for the Lord.” Col 3:23 It’s easy to let our work take over our lives, remember that this life is temporary, like a vapor and that our eternal life is permanent.
Many of us have families to take care of - this is a high priority in the Bible. It’s easy to be so busy with sports, chores, even church activities that we lose sight of what is important...
