God’s word promises that our Lord will be with us and will see us through this world, but it also let’s us know that there will be tough times. He says WHEN you go through stuff that seems overwhelming, like you’re drowning, like the whole world is against you - and maybe it’s all true - God is with us. Never forget that He told you stuff would happen and He tells you He will never leave you nor forsake you! When adversity comes, it is NOT a sign that God is trying to hurt you, or that He loves you less. It’s a sign that you’re still living in a fallen world.
