If you feel heaviness, Jesus has a solution. Take the burden to Him. Why do we try to carry burdens on our own when He told us not to? I don’t get it. Sometimes we say things like God made me strong so I could handle these things - but the truth is He still wants to bear those burdens with you. He made you strong for something else, but you can get stuck when you rely on that strength instead of Him. I know - I’m a witness.
God did make me strong, but it wasn’t so I could walk on my own - it was because together with Jesus, we overcame tremendous adversity, pain, anguish and trauma. He developed miracle faith in me as I took on His yoke. He really did. My life verse is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I’ve never done it on my own.
