His Purposes

Our God is faithful! He WILL do what He says He will do, but on His schedule and for His purposes. One of His promises is:

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

We are His children and He will not leave us as orphans. But, He will use us to help others. Each on of us is called and chosen for a purpose - actually many, many purposes in service of one big purpose - to glorify God, spread the Gospel about Jesus Christ and to serve others.

Notice that God’s purposes don’t promise stuff - sometimes we are blessed with wealth, but it’s not a promise for believing. He does promise to take care of us, and bless us with His Holy Spirit, love, grace and wisdom. He says that is enough for us. Is it enough for you?
