Why do we struggle to let go of things that are past? Things that cause us pain and heartache? Things that hold us back? It should be easy, right? Those things are known, though. Even if they are painful, we know what we’re dealing with. The future, God’s plan for us, is unknown. Our human nature responds with fear unless we purposely and deliberately overcome that fear with faith. It is our responsibility to build up our faith and to use it. It doesn’t happen accidentally. G
