As I am preparing for “the next” in my life, I was reminded this week that I still need to be ready for what God has for me to do NOW.
Right now, while I don’t feel steady.
Right now, when things are so scary and uncertain.
Right now, while I grieve and my family is grieving.
Right now, while work is so very busy.
Right now, God is still in the throne and while He is healing me He also has assignments for me. I had opportunities this week to say “yes” or “no” to some that required extra time and energy.
I heard my spirit say yes while my mind wrestled with the commitments and my heart thought about all the people it would make a difference for. So, I said yes - I am imperfectly ready.
