Faith in God is a place of safety and protection from this world. Critics of Christianity accuse us of using religion as a “crutch” when we lean on and trust in God. We were never meant to endure this world without Him and I would not have been able to deal with things in my life without Him. I’ve definitely been “pressed but not crushed, persecuted not abandoned, pressed down but not destroyed.” My faith has been tested but I knew where to turn when that happened - right to the source. God, Himself.
