The Lord is with you. The Lord isn’t just with you when the blessings are abundant and life is good, He is with you through the times of drought, suffering and trouble. We will have both in This life but it doesn’t change who God is and what He can do. He IS God.
We must remember that He made a way for us to have a personal and intimate relationship with Him, to have conversations, to make requests and to experience His healing presence and peace, but HE IS God and we are not. When we complain and whine “why me?” About the various trials we face, how do you think that comes across to God? The book of Job tells us, and it isn’t what we want to hear - it’s humbling.
