There is nothing that anyone, including the devil, can do to separate us from our Lord. Period. Yes, we do have to fight the fight of faith, and that isn’t easy, but we do have the security that our Father has our back. Even when we turn our back on Him and have to face the consequences of bad choices and sin, He still has our back.
He is faithful, He is trustworthy, His word is true, and He says that nothing can separate us from His love for us. He says that no weapon formed against us will succeed - He doesn’t say they won’t try, though. Don’t be deceived when you are attacked, don’t let it overwhelm you - God is with us, we are His children and He will protect us from evil.
