I write a lot about love, and yet there is so much more to say. Jesus spoke about it and told us to love each other like He loves us.
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”

It’s not optional for Christ followers, it’s essential to our walk with Him. It doesn’t matter if someone doesn’t deserve our love, love can’t be earned. It doesn’t matter if someone has hurt us or betrayed us - love keeps no record of wrongs.
Your feelings and pain DO matter, but they never mean we stop loving. Love isn’t an excuse either - it’s a choice to trust God and His grace and His justice. He is perfect and He promises to be just.
