Can’t Fix It

This.

I don’t know about you, but I have done this... I mean tried to do this many, many times. I’m a “doer,” I get things done. I’m not one to wait around for someone else... if I’m hurting, I try to fix it, make it better by accomplishing something. Don’t get me wrong, I pray and seek God too, but I’m a master of taking things into my own hands.


But God has taught me to wait, or at least to get better at it... and I have! He has healed so many broken parts in me that I can’t even recall them all. He has made me whole, complete with nothing missing and nothing broken - Shalom. And when I break again, He will go to work again because of HIS faithfulness, not because of my performance, leadership or piety, but because He is my dad and I am His child.
