Crossroads of Faith

There has been a lot of heartache and heaviness recently. Ecclesiastes 3 teaches us that “There is a time for every purpose under heaven,” including a time to weep, mourn and grieve, and then to rejoice, laugh and dance...among others. So as we weep and grieve, let’s be sure to cry out to God and worship Him. Asking Him “Why?” never works, so I don’t recommend it. It just causes frustration and misunderstanding. Either you believe in the goodness of your Father, or you don’t - this is the real crossroads of faith. Understanding that sometimes we just don’t understand, and that’s OK because our God, creator of universe, does and we simply choose to trust Him. This doesn’t mean we don’t do anything - we don’t stop worshipping and doing the work of the gospel, we just keep doing it through our brokenness and rely on God. #goodgoodfather #brokennesstowholeness #faith #childofgod #atimetomourn #christianliving #shalom #onespiritonechurch #dailydevotional
