Fear. I’ve heard some preach that fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. The thing is, fear IS real. It is a force we battle and that we need. We should have a healthy fear of the consequences of bad decisions- and we should instill that healthy fear into our children.
However, one thing I’ve learned is that faith in God overcomes all my fears. Even when I’m full of sorrow or frustration, turning to my Father who is still the King of the Universe and who has a destiny and purpose for my life causes my faith to be stronger than the fear. The fear of following God unto the unknown, the fear of sharing my faith, the fear of trusting God. Several years ago, I realize that every bad decision I’d made was motivated by fear and that my good decisions were in faith.
