Doing what is right is still a choice we have to make every day - just like it was when God was explaining it to Cain a long, long time ago. It reads a little differently when we change the “you” to “I” though. It becomes more personal and less conceptual.
When we choose to do what is right, we are accepted - not just by other people, but it pleases God too. Don’t get me wrong, we aren’t saved by our works, but faith without works is dead.
Sin IS crouching at our doors and we must figure out how to resist it and walk with Christ. How do you do this?
