Don’t Grow Weary

How many times have you grown weary?

Weary of praying for someone?

Weary of praying for a situation?

Our prayers have power beyond our imagination- we don’t see what God is doing under the surface and behind the scenes- our responsibility is just to pray and keep praying.

How many times have you grown weary of believing? …of standing in faith?

How many times have you given up on something God promised you because you just wanted to avoid being disappointed?

How has your faith stood still and seen the glory of God?

Do you believe that God is just and faithful? Then stand! ”So my dear brothers and sisters, stand strong. Do not let anything move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your work in the Lord is never wasted.“ 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭58‬ ‭

Who do you need to forgive? …again? …and again? Just do it, as many times and as often as you need to. It’s hard to do this when you know that the person you’re forgiving isn’t sorry, doesn’t care and doesn’t deserve it. None of us really deserve to be forgiven, but the Lord forgives us and requires us to do it too. Over and over again.

”So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.“ Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ ‭
